Here's how it works
Associations, companies and other organizations can apply for support from Leader.
Applying for project support is a process. We at the leader office are there to support you all the way from a germinating idea to a project in full bloom.
Four steps to your project
We could divide the application process into four different steps. To begin with, there must be a project idea that is based on the fact that there is a development need in the area. This idea should fit into our development strategy and then a project is formed. We at the leader office are there to coach you all the way.
Good luck!
Step 1
Get started
Great that you have a project idea! Since collaboration is an important factor in a leader project, it is a good idea to talk to each other locally and see how you can combine your driving forces. Also look through our development strategy, our goals and areas of focus.
Step 2
Interest-arousing
Time to get that project idea down on paper! You can do this by downloading our ”interest stimulator”. The document will become a basis for discussion after you submit it to us at the leader office. We will make an initial assessment of the project idea.
Step 3
Application
If your idea has the potential to become a leader project, you will be invited to a project applicant meeting. Here we will guide you through the application process and provide coaching throughout the process.
Here you can read more about how you can prepare for a project application.
Step 4
Implementation
When the application is complete, it is sent to the board, which will assess whether the project will be granted support.
If your project is granted support, we will forward the application to the Swedish Board of Agriculture, which will make the formal decision. Finally, you will receive a start decision from the Swedish Board of Agriculture and you can begin implementing your project.
