Trollskogen – forest time instead of screen time
About the project
At Hunneberg, Trollskogen is being created – a safe and imaginative meeting place where children and young people can move, play and discover nature. Here, visitors meet the trolls Halle, Hunne and Spanarn, along with animals and natural figures that appear along the path.
In Trollskogen, an obstacle course adapted to age and difficulty level is being built, a gathering place for families, signs and artwork that teach and inspire. Children will have the opportunity to climb, balance, jump, sing songs and participate in activities such as nature art, animal gymnastics and reflex loops.
The project aims to arouse curiosity about the forest, strengthen the joy of movement and create community – completely free and open to everyone. With digital material, children can prepare at home and bring ”a friend” into Trollskogen even before the visit.
Behind the initiative is Halle- och Hunneberg AB together with local associations, artists and construction contractors. The goal is for Trollskogen to become a natural part of the Ecoparken at Hunneberg – a place where forest time becomes a fun and natural part of everyday life for children and their families.
The project is in the queue at the Swedish Board of Agriculture.
