Gräfsnäs Church strengthens the community's well-being and attractiveness
Through new activities, meeting places and cultural events, Equmenia Church, together with other associations, wants to strengthen the community in the area. The project will create more opportunities for children, young people and adults to meet through nature, music and leisure activities.
About the project
The project aims to develop Gräfsnäs Church and its surroundings into a vibrant meeting place for both residents and visitors. Through new activities and investments, the project aims to contribute to increased well-being, community and attractiveness in the Gräfsnäs area.
The project includes several initiatives that are specifically aimed at children and young people. Among other things, canoes will be purchased for paddling and opportunities will be created for young people to play music together. By offering more activities in the local environment, the project wants to strengthen community, team spirit and the opportunity to participate in meaningful leisure time at home.
The project also includes the development of the church garden into an open and inviting environment with seating, play areas and space for activities. During the summer period, a waffle café and various cultural events such as singing and music are also planned. Together, these efforts will contribute to a vibrant meeting place for both locals and visitors.
The initiative is being implemented in close collaboration with other associations in the area, including through the network around Gräfsnäs Castle Park. Through collaborations and non-profit engagement, the project aims to contribute to developing the area and create more activities that strengthen both community and local attractiveness.
The project is in the queue at the Swedish Board of Agriculture.
The project has been prioritized by our LAG board, congratulations! It is now in the queue at the Swedish Board of Agriculture for further processing and formal decision. Projects can start before they have received their formal decision, but this is done at your own risk.
